Introduction

Life Line Outreach is a non-profit Drug / Alcohol Rehabilitation and Prevention Center that was established in 1976 by Pastor David Hernandez. Pastor Hernandez saw the need for a Christian rehabilitation program that would be open to all nationalities and ethnic groups, and would be conductive in resolving the problems encountering individuals afflicted by the abuse and dependency of drugs and alcohol. Pastor Steve Perez, who was in Life Line Outreach, felt the need to open Life Line Outreach. Life Line Outreach (Ventura) was established in May 2007.

Our Approach

While the resident is in our care and in a detoxification phase, we do not offer any type of synthetic drugs. Our program plan is to increase relevant knowledge, self awareness, and attitudes appropriate for the provisions of ones self. He and his family are encouraged to become actively involved in all aspects of our program.

Service Areas

  • Life Line Outreach services the Ventura County, Los Angeles County, San Bernardino County jails but not limited too and many state prisons.
  • We provide counseling and parole placement to our in-house program.
  • We make requests and recommendations to the court asking them to allow men to enter into our program, under our care and treatment for the length of time stipulated by the courts.

Services Offered
An addict, gang member, or troubled youth in need of rehabilitation shall commit to our program for a period of 6 months to a year. The length of time is determined upon how the individual responds to the program. Although the individual is encouraged to stay in our program until graduation deemed by the executive staff, he may leave whenever he desires.

Additional Services
We offer: court referrals, individual, group, family counseling, drug information, drug prevention, referral assistance, and spiritual counselors are available at no charge and are available to all age groups.
